A bit on the inside..so productive!!!!

I went a little crazy making cushions!! Most of the fabrics are from Spool of Thread in Vancouver (really nice prints on linen from Japan), paired with some fabrics I had around here. The picture isn't that great but c'est la vie.

I'm calling these two panels DONE! The sky panels are all prepped and ready for their flying objects.

This and that

I've been busy in the studio with the boys gone. Pitures aren't that great as they are taken with my phone. This may happen more often than not as it's soo easy. The little painting is done on wood panel and the bird is collaged onto balsa wood and hung with steel wire. The heron is a lift print on water color. The pigeon is collaged on the wood panel which is painted with acrylics. As you can see I am a bit obsessed with the decorative motifes of the California Missions. The days have been hot so it is the perfect time to paint outside in the morning and in the cool studio in the afternoon.
